How would you categorize Miata generations as pizza?

Someone in the Miata MX-5 Enthusiast Club asked what makes the NC generation different. I explained with pizza. Let me know what you think.

NA: Margherita - very pure and light
NB - Pepperoni - same base, a bit zestier
NC - Hawaiian - a little heavy and sweet for most people
ND - Fresh Basil Margherita - return to the original but updated

They’re all pizza and all great in their own ways. The NC just loses a lot of people for being a bit bigger, a bit less power mods on the engine, and a little softer than the NB. It’s still a wonderful car, just a little of an outlier in the Miata world - like Hawaiian pizza. You either love it or you don’t.

NA: Japanese Pizza   - stale, mouldy, many bits missing,
NB: Japanese Pizza - stale, weird flavour, bits missing
NC: Japanese Pizza - stale, thick crust stuffed with cheese, mostly complete though
ND: Japanese Pizza - fresh, nicely made...but still too small. And there’s now a Italian flavoured option...

Yes I’ve never got over just how odd the Miata/MX-5 actually is. And given it’s originally a Japanese interpretation of a basic but underpowered British sports convertible whose brand is now Chinese owned...comparing it to pizza is even odd er.

Seems like it must have been. I only looked at the butt end of it and I think the top was down.

I’ve never driven a Miata, but they look like they’d be fun, and I’m rather obsessed with having rear wheel drive.
